2018世界大賽冠軍 波士頓紅襪台灣時間1日舉行遊行，不過途中卻出現意外插曲，有民眾將啤酒罐往遊行車丟擲，意外擊中冠軍盃上的旗子設計，警方隨後也將一名投擲民眾逮捕。

根據警方說法，遭逮捕的是名19歲、名為Patrick Connolly的年輕人，逮捕理由為妨害治安及帶有武器的危險攻擊，不過，丟向遊行車的啤酒罐不只一瓶，紅襪總教練Alex Cora及例行賽MVP大熱門之一的Mookie Betts雖然差點遭殃，但也有球員接到啤酒罐相當開心。
